BLLCI - Minor in Art History
For students enrolled in the Faculty of Communication, Culture and Society at the USI
The ISA presents the Minor educational track in Art History of the Bachelor in Italian Language, Literature and Civilisation of the Institute of Italian Studies at the USI.
The cycle of studies involves the acquisition of 30 credits, of which 12 credits of introductory courses should be selected from the educational offering of courses in the theoretical area (ISA) for the Bachelor’s course 1-3 at the Academy of Architecture (compulsory courses).

Elective courses
18 credits of elective courses selected from the educational offering of the compulsory courses for Bachelor 1-3 and the optional and facultative courses related to the ISA in the theoretical area of the Master 1-2.
The elective courses include some related to other areas (for example: M. Vegetti, Theory and practice of public space, M. Müller, Styles and techniques of cinema).
The complete educational offering for each academic year will be published on the ISA website at the beginning of each autumn semester.
Written papers
It is possible to present two optional written papers worth 3 credits each. The papers are associated with the following faculty members:

Tutoring
For the selection of the facultative courses and the construction of personalised study plans, a tutoring and orientation service is provided for individual students (Tutors: Carla Mazzarelli, Daniela Mondini):
Students are received by appointment at the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio or at the ISI in Lugano.
